Dynamics custom report table definitions

I am looking at updating some address nformation contained in a statement generated from Dynamics as a custom form. I have found that the current data is pulled from a table SYS_Location_MSTR and the field is Address 1.
This is obviously not the real table name. Is there any way to trace back to find where this data is coming from?
I have checked all the addresses for the company under Tools/Setup/Company to reflect the changes, but the statement address is still wrong.
The other alternative is to replace the field with straight text, but this will mean I have to access every report that uses an address and do the same thing- far better to change the source data.

Hi,

The SY_Location_MSTR table (Company Location Maseter) is SY00600 in the company database.  To verify this, you can open Tools --> Resource Descriptions --> Tables, then select Series = Company, then View By = Technical Name.

To edit the address information in this table, you can go to Tools -> Setup -> Company -> Company, but then click on the Address button in the bottom right corner.

In the Company Address Setup window, lookup the Address ID and edit the appropriate address.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,

Yes, I have been through all the addresses for the company. I found one that was incorrect and have fixed it - am getting finance to re-test.

Thanks for the heads up on working out where things are!! Makes life just that much easier!
