Site to Site and Dialup VPN

We have SIte A and B. In site A we have Static IP in ethernet from ISP. In site B we have ADSL from ISP with dynamic that is PPoE. Our aim is  to setup Site to Site VPN. Since Site B is with dynamic  IP ,initially we want site B to initiate VPN. We have Zyxel P-661H at both locations which ahs to be configured. What is the procedure?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have any understanding on VPN setups?

As in Understanding what Phase 1 and Phase 2 are and also the tunnel ID's

Just want to get grasp for your initial understanding

Just to start you off

SITE A = Static IP

Within VPN setup you have options for MY IP which will be SITE A's IP Address, Secure Gateway IP leave as 0.0.0.0 as you do not have a static IP Address

Use the default VPN encrption and settings for now

SITE B = Dynamic MY IP is 0.0.0.0 and your secure remote gateway will be SITE A's IP Address.

You will also have options to put in the Local and Remote Address which must be configured on both routers. SITE A local address is your internal LAN IP ie 192.168.4.0 255.255.255.0 and SITE B may be 10.10.7.0 255.255.255.0. this tells the router that to get to an address traverse the VPN.

Let me know how you get on with the first steps. but remember that because SITE B has dynamic address if you are on SITE B and ping an internal address on SITE A then the VPN wont come up as there is no security IP identifier. so i would allways initiate a VPN connection from site A to site B and enable the VPN keep alive.
