"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You would need to use VMWare converter to convert them to your ESX server, however I'm unsure if you can reverse this process if it's only temporary but I'm pretty sure converter goes the other way.

I use vmware converte. go to and download converter for free and install converter in your server or another one (need to see that server) and under converter just select moving to esx. server.
