Mac OS: How to remove metadata from an audio file

I need to remove the metadata from an audio file. MP3Tag does the job for Windows but how do you do this in Mac OS.

Hello, Thanks for your reply.

I cannot use a virtual machine, the app has to be native to Mac OS.
Thanks,

convert the mp3 to wav using the audio tools if you have some onboard or Audacity
if you can re-record it using the stereomix that also works
I have not tried these, but try googling for them
