It is not version 1.0 but version 6 which is OK. VFP ODBC does not support 64 bit OS. It has to be instaled in 32 bit subsystem and used by 32 bit applications only.

You could also use Advantage Database Server ODBC driver created by Sybase. It is designed for both 32 and 64 bit systems.

Why to delete? The link was valid in 2010 so the question was answered correctly. Would you delete the question when it would be closed? To delete this question after years is a nonsense! Or do you plan to delete all answered questions having invalid links inside?

I can even provide the current download link:  http://download.microsoft.com/download/vfoxodbcdriver/Install/6.1/W9XNT4/EN-US/VFPODBC.msi which makes the answer more valuable.

If you need some work for your robots then test all URLs in all answers and ask authors for the update where URLs are not valid after years. It would be much more valuable contribution then old questions deletion.

ID: 31775518 was correct answer before 6 years, ID: 41609782 is correct answer today.

And this page should tell where to find the driver download after Microsoft decides to disallow their own download area: http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~VFPODBCDriver
