scheduling job in dbms scheduler
1a - Need an interface to schedule jobs using dbms scheduler - also change the frequency of the job and parameters within the job - based on what I know
1. Oracle enterprise edition has interface that can do this but it is server software and cannot be installed on desktop.
2. build our own application - takes more time
What are the other options here.
1 b - I am also looking for oracle workflow manager - is this also available in Oracle enterprise edition? I am looking for worklow to setup and escalate using worklfow if the job fails -

for my question 1a - does Oracle enterprise manager can be setup to configure for user to change only his dbms jobs and not others - if yes can you deail the steps
for 1b - I think workflow manager is add on and does not come with db server - if that is the case I also heard that oracle is not supporting workflow from 2011 - instead bPEL or some tool that I heard will be supported - does anyone know about that tool?

If you want to do this on other machine, then install Oracle server on this machine, define dblink to the target server and using this dblink consume the data you need to manipulate.
Oracle server can be accessed by every type of Oracle client. So if you have access difficulties - then do it via Oracle client.
