How to edit distribution lists via Outlook 2008

Since upgrading to Exchange 2010 from 2007, our users have lost the ability to make changes to distribution lists that they own. Permissions in EMC are set for the owner to be able to make changes but when the owner tries he gets a insufficient privileges error. Has anyone seen this before?

thanks in advance

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is due in correct Exchange webservices settings, have you verified that you have internal and External URLs configured correctly, also make sure that users are conecting using TCP not HTTPs

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't one of those "one off" productions from Redmond. I have a few of those in our enterprise.
