When is a broadcast domain to big

Hello,

I am currently studying for the CCNA and I just learned about Broadcast domains. In the company I work for we have about 45 workstations and 15 servers in one broadcast domain. We do not have any issue or problems but I wonder now if there a recommended max value of hosts in a broadcast domain?
Or in other words - at what amount of hosts should I start thinking about splitting this broadcast domain up?

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think a similar question has already been answered here. See:

Additionally you might want to check the amount of broadcasts through a switch interface by using the command

show interface interface counters

On CatOS, show top will help show statistics for interfaces.
