How do I move the <caption> closer to the <input type="text">-field?

How do I move the <caption> closer to the <input type="text">-field without also moving other cells? I want to move the <caption> "Personliga uppgifter" closer to the four text fields that are located below "Personliga uppgifter": Förnamn, Efternamn, Telefon, E-post (without any other cells moves). Personliga uppgifter should be just like Rese- och hotelluppgifter (which is close to Avresa från and Destination).

I've enclosed my code and a .bmp picture of the form.

N.B.! I want to use only HTML 4.01 Transitional, nothing else!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

place the caption inside td of text boxes or use a row for the caption also

I can't get it to work with either of your suggestions. Shouldn't <caption> always be immediately after <table>?

Can't I just remove caption and use <b> instead? I only want a bold title, and keep it close to the four text fields below
Do the same as you did with text area at the bottom - put it in a cell with a coloumn span of 2.
so replace the <caption> </caption> tags with <td colspan="2"> </td>

It didn't work either, there is still a wide gap on one line between caption and the below table, even if I replace <caption> with a <td> that spans over 2 columns.
