I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It could be a corrupt SMTP Connector or upset Metabase.
Try deleting the connector (after writing down the settings), then re-creating a new connector and putting all the settings back.

Hi All ...What i have try my xperience is ...When I click on the Queues node in ESM, in the right-hand pane I see 5
listings which disturb me. They are listed immediately after "Failed
Message Retry Queue". How can I delete them? Prior to today, my Exchange
box was not doing reverse DNS lookups, but I changed that so now it is.
I'll put the whole list below. Note that I have two default SMTP Virtual
Servers, one internal and one external. My AntiVirus software detected a
lot of Netsky virus detections in my Badmail folder, which are .bad and .bad
files, all of which I just shift-deleted. I asked previously if Netsky
virus could have created these rogue Internet Mail SMTP Connectors. I found
out the answer to that - no, because I ran the Netsky removal tool and no
virus was found.

Are you waiting for an answer that solves your problem before you post anything, or have you tried the suggestions and they don't work?

Either way, starting up a dialog with the experts is the best way to get your problems solved.  It's a bit like a phone conversation.  If you don't talk, the other end will lose interest and hang up.  If you talk, the conversation can get going.
