How do I convert XML to Quicken format

My website already returns XML through ASP.NET 1.1.4322 and MS SQL Server. Need to enhance website to let the user obtain a transaction listing suitable for Quicken.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm showing my ignorance. Never used or dealt with Quicken.
Just trying to convert XML to whatever is compatible for a Quicken web download.
Thanks,

iCreateOFX Basic from http://icreateofx.co.uk/Convert-CSV-to-OFX can convert CSV and QIF to OFX.
If you can convert your XML to CSV, then this would be the program I recomend.

I am not sure how you are retrieving your XML, however, from a standing XML file, the MINIMUM fields that you need in your CSV are:
1. Transaction Date
2. Transaction description
3. Transaction amount.

For a "more" complete record, you could add
4. Transaction numer (unique and persistent)
5. Memo

iCreateOFX Basic will generate a transaction number (if your data does not contain one), and persit these for that transaction set / statement. The MEMO field will be a duplicate of the Transaction details field. If you would like to utilise the PAYEE field (usefule for reconcilliation and allocation), you are should include the MEMO / PAYEE field in the XML to CSV file / transaction statement.
