MAPI-CDO package memory leaks

I have a MAPI client that talks to the Exchange Server and retrieves the messages from various mailboxes. On my box I have the latest Exchange MAPI-CDO package installed. From the size I find that it is the Client version of the Outllook DLL. When running under load I have found that there are lot of handle leaks.

This behaviour is different when we had the previous version of the Exchange MAPI-CDO package and there the size of the mapi32.dll was more like/same what it is on the Exchange server. In that case we did not see any handle/memory leask when running under load. I'm not sure why Microsoft has changed the contents of the underlying package.

Has anyone else noticed a similar problem and if so are there any ways to work around this problem.
