Software Updated not grabbing RHN updates despite correct entitlement

Hi there, I have an RHEL 5 64bit server. We have update entitlement from RHN.
When I log in to RHN and browse Systems, I can see that this server is registered, and there's a Red exclamation mark next to it meaning it needs some serious updating.. However despite selecting all the updates and confirming them to be applied, I see a clock icon next to them and they are never applied even after 2 days.

When I go to System Tools -> Software Updater , I see "there are no updated packages currently available for your system". I tried unregistering and re-registering the system but nothing changed, please help. thanks.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
