I did a migration from sbs 2003 to sbs 2008 so the C: drive task perhaps was referring to the sbs2003 server and not the new 2008. &nbsp;I killed all task and re setup have not gotten this error in logs since. &nbsp;Thanks

I recently migrated from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008.<br />
I keep getting these errors in event log:<br />

VssAdmin: Unable to create a shadow copy: Either the specified volume was not found or it is not a local volume. <br />
Command-line: 'C:\Windows\system32\vssad<wbr />min.exe Create Shadow /AutoRetry=15 /For=E:\'. <br />

I recently migrated from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008.
I keep getting these errors in event log:

VssAdmin: Unable to create a shadow copy: Either the specified volume was not found or it is not a local volume. 
Command-line: 'C:\Windows\system32\vssadmin.exe Create Shadow /AutoRetry=15 /For=E:\'. 

I located the following article:

But it only apply to windows server 2003.
