CF Builder SWT Library

I just recently installed ColdFusion Builder. I wanted to get familiar with teh environment so I did a test run with the hello world app.
The problem that I ran into is this error:
'Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Cannot load 64-bit SWT libraries on 32-bit JVM'
I've done searches all over the net for this CFBuilder error and have found nothing.
Can anyone explain to me what I need to do. I am using Win7 on a 64bit PC.

Someone using CFBuilder may know more,  but the error seems pretty straight forward.  It's trying to load a 64-bit library on a 32-bit JVM.  What is the rest of your config?

- JVM - what version and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
- Eclipse / what version and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
- CFBuilder / Plugin or standalone? (I don't think there's a 64 bit version. So I'm guessing plugin)

What version JVM? 1.6.xxx, 1.5.xxxx?  Also, what mode for windows 7? The requirements say:

http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/cfbuilder/systemreqs/
    * ....Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit running in 32-bit mode)
    * Java™ Virtual Machine (32 bit): IBM® JRE 1.5, Sun™ JRE 1.5, IBM JRE 1.6, or Sun JRE 1.6
    * Eclipse 3.4.2 or Eclipse 3.5 32-bit (for plug-in installation)

What version JVM? 1.6.0_20
What mode for windows 7? 64bit with compatibility mode
I'm not using Eclipse only CFBuilder

   So "compatibility" is 32-bit mode?

> I'm not using Eclipse only CFBuilder
That's only if you're installing it as a plugin. CFBuilder is built on Eclipse, so it's basically installed already.

I'm not sure what else to tell you. Seems like you followed the instructions.  You could try installing it as a plugin instead.  Unfortunately, someone using CFBuilder on win7 would know better. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Do you have any restrictions with running a 64bit JVM? Your JVM would have more freedom with the OS that way anyway. Otherwise I suppose you can try and look for a 32bit version of the standard cf flash builder or use something like corflags.exe to set the 32bit flag on the executable before you launch it.

I do have a 64bit JVM installed.

BTW: I think the title "CF Builder SWT Library" may have discouraged some people from answering, thinking they don't know anything about SWT. Perhaps something more basic might draw more of a response  ie "What do I need to install CFBuilder on Windows 7"?

> I do have a 64bit JVM installed.
Hmm, I thought the requirements said 32bit JVM:  "...Java™ Virtual Machine (32 bit): IBM® JRE 1.5, Sun™ JRE 1.5, IBM JRE 1.6, or Sun JRE 1.6"
