On my webpage for an iPhone I have textboxes (html form input fields type &quot;text&quot;) in which the user can enter only numbers. When displayed on an iPhone as soon as the focus is on that text box the iPhone offers a keyboard for text entry. The problem is that it displays the keyboard for characters not digits. <br />

How can I make the iPhone switch to the digit keyboard straight away without showing the charcter keyboard? Is there a Javascript solution or do I have to set something in my HTML code?<br />
