I've ran the recovery and it reovered most but not all. Unfortunatly it didnt recover the one of the files i really wanted. im going to try uusing a different program and see what results i get. any other recomendations??
For your inforamtion. some of the jpg files were very large at about 50mb to 90mb. my camera usually saves between 2mb and 4 mb. Some of the AVI's are very big for the shortness of the video. This tells me its not been able to cut the files off where the files end and carries on through the next file(s).

You could give FileScavenger a try:
http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm (Shareware, but you can just try to find the files)
It's a similar program which saves the recovered data onto another drive.
If both can't recover the files, the chance is not very high to get the files back.
You could send the card to a professional recovery company, Like Ontrack, Kroll...
But that will be not cheap..
