Joomla articles in front page won't display mult
My page at www.tgfc.org won’t display multiple front page articles. The front page is set to current news; coming events and meetings are published and selected as front page, but fail to appear in the front page. Any ideas! Regards, Chris.
if in doubt please take a screenshot of your menu item current news - which is your default home page - thanks - it could possible be settings in teh params also

I have taken shot on the main menu, home is disabled and current news is set as default however when you read the type the current news is articles >> article and the home is Articles >> front page. How do i Change this setting. Regards, Chris.

Also if I select home as default front page a multiple layout appears but the format appears as narrow columns not as wide rows

Thank you, it now works, I’m only new to Joomla and finding lots of small issues, I see you are in Sydney and run classes on Joomla maybe I should attend one, One thing that would be useful would be a book on these simple solutions like your website has on latest J tips. navigate to menu - main-menu - click on item called current news
this is the item ( I think you are using as yoru home page)
is teh menu type FRONTPAGE - you need to do this to make it show front page items
Otherwise create a new menu item - called home - lmake it type FRONTPAGE - save
then form eth list of menu items chekc the littel box next to the hoem item and set as DEFAULT - top right - so it has a star next to it
