i know this sounds rediculous to suggest - but, use a different keyboard...
do the process over from scratch with the new keyboard (of course, connect it when the server is powered off)

I am guessing you have tried different media? Is it a burned disk? Is it a custom ISO?

have you tried usb keyboards and ps2 keyboards?  how about an hp branded keyboard?
(others have said that worked for them in this specific issue)

Check the RAM and the optical drive.  An easy way to test is get a USB cd ROM, diable the internal one in the BIOS. if the software installs, it's the CD-ROM, if not, replace the RAM.

Thanks everybody for the help, after three days i found out that the smartarray controller P410 has bad drivers in Hp easysetup cd.Therefore downloaded new drivers and did not use the hp easysetup cd but used windows server 2003 cd and press f6 to specify the drivers and it worked fine. Thanks aagin to all.
