"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Which version of Internet Explorer are you using?
change IE to the size your want:
Now hold ctrl
click with the mouse on the x in the upper right corner to close IE.
IE saves now the position and size.

next time IE will open the window in the saved position.

It may be that you want pop-up windows to open up in tabs in the same Window.  If this is the case follow these steps.

From Internet Explorer Click on TOOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS | towards the bottom you will see TABS.  Click on SETTINGS | put a dot in ALWAYS OPEN POP-UPS IN A NEW TAB | Click OK | Click OK
