mailto send link in mail

I want to send mail in ASP.NET 1.0 with mailto
I want to add a link with href in the body of the mail
I get the string href in the body of the mail and the link is not clickable

mailUrl += "&body=";
string Linkstr = "http://www.experts-exchange.com"
BodyMail = "<a href='" + Linkstr + "'>link here</a>";
mailUrl  += BodyMail ;

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Your should set your message to html, e.g.

MailMessage msg = new MailMessage();
            msg.BodyFormat = MailFormat.Html;

Hello,

This works fine for me:
<html>
<body>
<a href="mailto:youremail@something?subject=this is the subject
&body= go to this site  http://www.experts-exchange.com"> send mail</a>
</body>
</html>

When you click on Send Mail, you'll find Outlook or Windows Mail or whatever popup and has the link on the body.

Also the following is working with me:

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<body>
<a href="mailto:someone@something.com?subject=the subject&body=<a href='http://www.experts-exchange.com'>click here</a>" id="myLink">eMail Us</a>
</body>
</html>
