Where is the Exchange Server 2007 Information Store Located
I inhereted an Exchange Server 2007 Installation and am fairly new to Exchange. I want to backup the data with Backup Exec 11d (also inhereted). I don't how to find the data stores. I've searched the harddive, and cannot find a reasonable fit. Also, I don't see it as anywhere in Exchange Server Console.
I've been told there are two in a folder called:
Microsoft Information Store\SG1
Microsoft Information Store\SG2
Please let me know how to locate these stores.

If you right click in the store itself and select properties it will tell you where the store is located.

I find the store under the Mailbox folder. What I don't find is the stores by the name:
\\svr\Microsoft Information Store\SG1
\\svr\Microsoft Information Store\SG2
It may have to do with VSS?

You mean via a Share? They are not shared out by default

Backup Exec 11 doesn't support Exchange 2007.
Considering your original question was about the location of the stores I am suprised you have accepted your own answer seeing as I provide you the answer I'm my first post. Had you have said withing Backup Exec I would have provided you with a completely different answer.

Sorry you seem upset. If you read my original post, you would have noticed I mentioned both BackupExec 11d and Exchange Server 2007. Your solution originally was circular. To right click on the store presupposes I know where it is - which doesn't help to find it in the first place.
