OWA Unavailable: CAS on different site in ADSS (Exchange 2007/Server 2008)

As usual, I'm in need of whatever assistance you guys can throw my way.

On my OWA implementation, I'm receiving the following error when I try to log into http:\\sitename.com\owa:

"Outlook Web Access is not available. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization and tell them the following: There is no Microsoft Exchange Client Access server that has the necessary configuration in the Active Directory site where the mailbox is stored. "

I've read through a lot of the troubleshooting (some of which was here on EE), but have not been able to be successful with this problem.

My AD has 2 sites.

I have the mailbox server sitting in Site B.  This server holds all the exchange rolls, including CAS/Mailbox/etc.  In Site A, I only have a CAS server sitting on top of an IIS installation.  Currently there are no firewalls or anything but a layer3 switch between the two sites. *Want to get it working first - before bringing in the lockdowns*

I have nothing populated in the external access URL for the CAS server in Site B, like suggested in the other troubleshooting forums.  Both servers have active SSL certificates.

In the beginning, on Site B, I had forms based authentication, and was able to log into the OWA server locally by hitting http://servername/owa.  But one of the "fixit" solutions had the backend mailbox server set to "windows integrated" authentication, so that's what I changed it to as of right now.

But still no joy on the owa.

Any suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Issue needed ample time for replication - in order to resolve.
