Hi All,
When exporting from Microsoft Calendar in Outlook from Microsoft Office 2003 to an Microsoft Excel file,  the categories are exported, but not the labels - is there any way that the labels can also be exported?

Hi, JamWales.

"the categories are exported, but not the labels "
What does "labels" mean in this context?

Hi BlueDevilFan,

The 10 standard, colour coded labels that come with outlook calendar when you create a new appointment.

None, Important, Business, Personal, Vacation, Must Attend, Travel Required, Needs Preparation, Birthday, Anniversay, Phone Call.

Got it.  Those labels aren't exposed except through Outlook's GUI.  In other words, the field that stores the label information is invisible except to the GUI.  The only solution I know of is to export the data via some scripting.  The label value can be retrieved in a script.

Hi BlueDevilFan. Many thanks for your reply, it confirms what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure.

Many thanks for your reply - it has confirmed what I thought, that the labels can only exported through scripting.
