How to completely uninstall Katmai CTP-5

I have a problem uninstalling SQLSErVER Katmai CTP-5. I have many times deleted all SQL server related folders and registry keys but still it prevents my installation of new version. All new installations are stopped with rule checking that claims there still is existing Katmai somewhere. So how can I completely rip that thing off my server?

Try using Windows Installer Cleanup utility from here which should help uninstall SQL Server 2008 completely.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

if it doesn't work, then go with the Microsoft document provided here:

Hi,
Thanks for posts. I got some insight from both of them but unfortunately they didn't produce the complete solution to the problem. I finally found a working solution in this blog. http://mark.michaelis.net/Blog/SQLServer2008InstallNightmare.aspx

Best Regards
