Exchange 2007 migration
We have two seperate forests. I have used ADMT to migrate the users , workstations and profiles. I know how to use the move mailbox command to move the mail boxes but am a little stuck on migrating distribution groups and contacts any help gratefully recieved
Hi Darrengp,
I think the easiest option is to migrate the groups using ADMT. In the new environment, you can use powershell also to mail enable all the groups "enable-distributiongroup"
The contacts should migrate without a problem using ADMT.

Yep you are right....it doesn't do that :( , sorry for that "tip".
A former customer used MIIS for the coexistence between multiple forests and syncing the contacts between the organizations.
I don't know if it will work in your situation to do a single, one-time sync....
Maybe LDIFDE.exe also may be sufficient for you. I don't have much experience with this tool, check it out, maybe the windows tool is sufficient for contacts...
