Having outlook set on a roaming profile with SBS 2008
Hi - i am trying to setup roaming profiles for users on an SBS 2008 box -
There are lot of resources out there, however i am still a little confused as to what is the best approach, here is what i want to do:
1) Have the user's Outlook open automatically in with their details with having to setup the Outlook startup wizard (even if its really quick with 2007)
2) Have Favourites and desktop icons move with the users wherever they log onto another pc in the network
I am not sure whether folder re-direction would achieve this and i started with roaming profiles but stopped midway as i wanted to check with the experts.
Cheers

Thanks for this - did the trick!
For question 1 I believe that Exchange Server auto-discovery will do the trick. Please take a look at http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/configuring-outlook-2007-exchange-server-2007.html for more information.
For question 2, folder redirection will achieve this. You enable folder redirection using the SBS Console.
