subnetting

How do you calculate your subnets on a netwok say that needs 3 subnets?without using a subnet calculater.would work from right to left or from left to right on the binary table.

hmm i cant argue as i dont know what exactly i wrote ..as a answerer my aim is to solve a query with simplest language i really dont knw what wrong i did :)...anyways thanks for telling the reason.
