I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you're a scripting guy, you can use something like this to query the logs:
http://www.activexperts.com/support/activmonitor/online/eventlog/  for VBScript

http://bloggingabout.net/blogs/wellink/archive/2005/04/08/3289.aspx  for WMI scripting

Sorry, posted too soon,

You could also follow these directions - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427

using a simple "find" you can quickly go through the descriptions with your phrase to see what it picks up.
