ODBC connection to Quickbooks 2010 for Mac

Hi,
I have a customer that runs quickbooks 2010 for mac. The need is to be able to get data out of quickbooks for some external uses. From a pc we are able to get to the mac share and see the quickbooks data files. Ideally we would create an odbc connection to the quickbooks files and then run a script that would create a csv with the data columns that we need. Unfortunately there seems to be no odbc driver to talk to quickbooks 2010 for mac. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can get the data extracted on a semi regular basis?
We tried a few utilities but nothing seems to want to connect to quickbooks 2010 for mac.
Thanks
Dave

If you think you'll want to export QuickBooks reports to Excel so that you can work with the data (say for forecasting and such), then you would need Microsoft Excel for Mac.

I just need the data out of quickbooks to use on a windows pc. I can get the exported files to windows. I just can't export the data. Is there something I am missing? I did not see an option in Quickbooks for mac to export all data.

Have a look at the following:

It looks like you can only export from reports.

A custom program can be built to accomplish the same. Look for companies doing SDK programming. Expect a cost of around $300 - 500.
