Visual Studio 2008 -- System.Data.OracleClient

I can connect to Oracle via TOAD using my
C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\NETWORK\ADMIN\
tnsnames.ora file
------------------------------------------------
ORCL =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = myhost)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVER = DEDICATED)
      (SERVICE_NAME = orcl)
    )
  )
------------------------------------------------
How can I fix the attached "ORA-12514 TNS:
could not resolve the connect identifier
specified" Visual Studio so I can connect
to Oracle via "System.Data.OracleClient" ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi! You may try to connect your Oracle Datasource in your Server Explorer, and once you connected just drag and drop the tables in there then you can modify the tableadapter.

Meanwhile, in your server name have you tried to put ORCL.HR instead of ORCL alone?
