setting up AD sites and services (server 2008) and Exchange 2010...

We just installed a Server 2008 R2 domain across two sites with an Exchange 2010 box in each location. We have defined the subnets in each location and assigned them to the site name. However, I've never done Exchange based on sites and I was wondering if there is a 'todo' list about what needs to be enabled for getting exchange mail to be routed to the correct locations based on AD sites and services.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you have nothing to do, starting exchange 2007 exchange will use the same sites you create in Active Directory to route emails

so provided that you have created a site in Sites & Services to each location and assigned the corresponding IP subnet objects to each site then you are all set.
