"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you have SP2 installed on the server?

Yes Service pack 2 is on the server
When the message is showed? Anyway the file is contained in the WIndows Server CD (without sp).
That could be compressed (as rissetup.ex_) and then you need to unpack using expand command.

I think you have tried to install the WDS before the SP. Then WDS=RIS (the old version)
So you can copy the file and hope that will be OK or uninstall the SP2, restart the server, uninstall the RIS, install the SP2 then reinstall the WDS.
