How to make a "progressive" search box with php to search mysql
I have tried to google this topic but cant seem to find the right words. What Im trying to do is to have a search box so that when someone enters 'a' all data beginning with 'a' is displayed, when I add 'p' to the 'a' ie 'ap' all words beginning with 'ap' are revealed and so on. I want to then be abale to highlight the relevent word eg 'apple' and display the resulting row and fields. Thanks in advance.
