Google Analytics with Joomla and Virtuemart
Hi there - I have a Joomla Virtuemart store set up, and I have Google Analytics on every page of my site. I'm trying to track in Analytics how many sales have been made. The issue is that the final "thankyou" page is a generic "index.php" page - so I have tried to make the page Title unique.
However - I've made a number of test sales, but none of them show in Analytics. I'm viewing the Analytics by page Title. I can find the title of my page, but no hits show for that page.
I'm wondering if it is because it's a https page, or if there is something else I need to do?

when you say you have the google analytics on every page - do you mean it is in the template?

Yes that's right - it's hard-coded in to the template which is used on every page.
firstly - it can take a day or 2 for analytics to kick in
Otherwise - what do you mean a generic php page - does it have a distinct url - you shoudl be able to track that in analytics (ps - aslo have you considered setting t as a goal in analytics)

okay will do. Thanks very much - I'll give it a go. It turns out the wrong Analytics ID was in the code, but I'll still try and set up a goal and see how it goes. Thanks very much.
