Is it possible to bulk import users into CRM from Active Directory?

Hi All,

simple question but is it possible to bulk import users into CRM from Active Directory. I have googled this and found nothing. I have about 450 users to create in CRM and don't fancy doing them one at a time.

Kind Regards

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

A very good question.

In the web interface the only options are to add users one at a time or to use the Add Multiple Users wizard (you can select multiple users from AD)

You can't import users with the Import Data Wizard but you can with the Data Migration Manager - but you have to complete a page for each new user.

The other way would be to programmatically create users usign the SDK.

Thanks feridun, the add multiple users option isn't ideal but we are likely to be rolling CRM out on a dept by dept basis anyway.

Thanks
