Hide columns in excel file saved as a webpage, hidden in ie not in firefox

I have saved an excel file as a webpage. Once uploaded to the web all the hidden columns are hidden in ie but not in Firefox. Can anyone tell me if there is a work around so i can hide the columns in firefox?

I think you mean you have saved an EXCEL file WITHIN a web page, right?  So unless the firefox and other browsers are told that certain columns are hidden (using the HTML hidden attribute) they will show them.  In contrast, IE is specifically coded to respect the properties of cells and columns in an excel spreadsheet, whereas the other browsers are not Microsoft specific, therefore they ignore the excel table attributes.
