error accessing roles server 2008 r2 64bit

When i try to access roles in server 2008 r2 64 bit  i get "error"  I do get one application error in the event viewer.  Visual studio 2010 was installed on this machine.  I also ran System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 with no solution.  I will post the event viewer.
