Where are my users mail files located in Exchange 2010?

I installed Exchange 2010 on a Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 server.  The drive has the OS on the front partition and I installed Exchange 2010 into the D:\Program Files directory.

I use Microsoft Backup to backup the D: volume.

Where are my users mail files?

I have 8 users and I want to know where their actual mail files are stored so if I restore the Exchange Application via Microsoft Backup I can find their individual mail files.

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It seems as though the Exchsnge install used Program Files as its root. So there isnt' a D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange directory.

Inside of D:\ProgramFiles I have:

BIN
ClientAccess
ExchangeOAB
GroupMetrics
Logging
Mailbox
Public
RemoteScripts
Scripts
Setup
TransportRules
UnifiedMessaging
Working

Inside of Mailbox
address
Mailbox Database
MDBE Temp
PublicFolderDatabase

Assuming I find the .edb file, how can I open that file and extract the users individual mail files?
Glen KnightCommented:
You cannot simply extract the contents of the EDB, did you read the articles I posted earlier?
The EDB file will be inside the Mailbox\Mailbox Database folder.
AkhaterCommented:
the .edb is inside "Mailbox Database" folder inside "mailbox"

you cannot open the .edb file and extract individual emails unless you are ready to pay $400 to get a software that does so
