Conditional printing of a sub-report?

I have a report that is designed to exactly fit one page.
I have a sub-report (containing photos) that is at the bottom of the page.  It prints on page 2 because there is no room on page one.

The problem is, if the record has no photos (no data for sub-report), the print report still prints a blank page.

Is there any way of saying "if the sub report has no data, change the margins, or just print the first page of the main report"?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can hide the subreport with this

There's still an issue of making it visible or not; I have the sub-report below the 8.5" page margin, so it shows up on page 2.

Maybe I'm looking for something to say "if no data, then only show the first page of the report(s), but for any WITH sub-report data, show both pages.

I ended up making the subreport 1 grid-dog thick (just a line) at the bottom of page one, then if there was any data, it would print (starting on page 2), if not, the report would only show one page.
