Script to find last user that logged onto a computer


I have a missing laptop and I would like to pull the AD information to see which of my users was the last to logon to the machine  Can anyone help me with this?

That information is not stored in the AD database.  You could possibly look through the security event logs on your DCs and look for events relating to that computer.  

It would be on the local logs of that machine...which won't do you any good right now.

here. this script accepts 1 argument with the computer name and returns the last logged on user:

c:\>cscript LastLoggedonUser.vbs MyComputer
