"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This can happen if you're exporting a huge amount of data and you don't have enough ram on the computer to buffer it properly.

If that's not the case you can try (I use CR10, but 8 might be similar) to use the Extended Excel Export option that only exports the data. It should keep the fit throwing to a minimum :)
