Cannot print on HP Laserjet 4200 printer with Windows 7

I have an HP Laserjet 4200DTN on LPT1 of a Windows 7 PC.  The internal network card went bad and I've had it connected parallel ever since.  It works fine on a Windows XP SP3 PC.
Cannot get a test page out of this setup.  Installed the driver from HP's website.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=84039&submit.y=8&submit.x=4&taskId=135&cc=us&locale=en_US&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=84028

The printer icon gets a yellow shield the instant I try to print a test page.
Tried a Windows Update from the printer install window and selected 4200/4300 series.  same result.
Also tried to use the Universal Printer Driver.  This creates a separate icon that is associated with nothing.  During installation it said it could be assigned to a printer.
In device manager there are only COM ports 1 & 2 no LPT ports.

Thank you that did the trick.  As soon as I rebooted the PC it discovered the printer & loaded the driver.
