"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I use Beyond Compare from scooter software. It allows synchronization between a drive and ftp site and can be scripted to automate the operation. It does loads of other really useful stuff too..

Otherwise, most backup solutions offer some sort of incremental or differential backups.. let me know if you need to know more..
I'd be sure you used sftp as a carrier of the data, it's the only way to ensure your data will not be compromised in the transfer.

You can simply install ftpdrive and use a sync to it.
