Act! Table Relationship contacts and addresses

I understand that Act! has some encrypted functions that I can't see. Does that have anything to do with why I can't seem to figure out the relationship between tbl_contact and tbl_address? Am I missing something? Is there a way around this? I write views in SQL and then use them for reporting in MSAccess. I can't add an address to a contact because there are multiple addresses for each contact_id in the tbl_address table. What am I missing? Thanks!

There are two ways to connect OLEDB (which already has the views) and ODBC - the best option depends on which version of ACT! you have and the types of info you're trying to get
