I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

OK from Internet can you telnet on port 25 to your mail server. If you try to send a mail to yourself from Internet, do you get any NDR?
What kind of topology do you have in place? Are you using an Edge Server/Spam Filtering on the perimter?
Do you a diagonostic test from http://mxtoolbox.com and post the results here.

It sounds like you have no send or receive connectors.  Was this working previously?

You will need to setup send and receive connectors as well as an accepted domain list.

Again I will ask the question though, has this worked previously or is this a new install and config?

Hi Racadata,
Please go through the link below to modify your backpressure settings which will allow you to free up some resources.
https://exchangepedia.com/blog/2007/03/exchange-server-2007-transport-452-431.html
Also check your Physical Resources such as Disk Space (System, Exchange, Logfile), Memory and Processor utilization and make sure that enough resources are available.

Hi again,

The drive where the transport queue is located has 97,6 GB free space, so this cannot be a problem
I have tried to edit the EdgeTransport.exe.config file changing the line "EnableResourceMonitoring" value to false - and then restarting Microsoft Exchange Transport service - but that didn't fix the problem

Are you able to confirm your send and receive connectors, and that the queues are not frozen for some reason?  And to confirm you are not able to send outside your internal org as well as not receiving in correct?

Can you reboot your server once and check again ?

And also check your System Drive and Exchange Installation Drive as well.

I have to samefully say that my system drive and my Exchange installation drive are the same (still 97GB free space)
The reboot didn't change anything, still no emails

I see, Do you have any Anti-Spam product Installed on the server or in the permiter? If you have disable it for some time and then check again. Also check the event viewer and see if you see any errors in the application log. Send yourself a test mail from internet and see if it reaches your server by checking the tracking logs.
