I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Virtual Labs, Web Casts, and Podcasts

As far as a beginner book I'd recommend Mark Minasi's "Mastering Windows Server 2003"

You can get a good deal on it on Amazon used books or other places and it covers a lot of info that you will need.

Other books would be the O'Reilly AD books and Jeremy Moskowitz Group policy book but first go through the Minasi book and the Microsoft site.

Experts-Exchange the the Technet forums and google are also always your friend.

If you can setup a test lab (even virtual) that will also help a lot so you can practices as you learn.

Thanks

Mike
