I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just change to back to 192.168.1.5, if nothing is set it defaults to the loopback.

oops sorry the clients have the loopback? in that case theck the DHCP scope options and server options and make sure the correct dns server is in the dns section "192.168.1.5" scope settings will override server settings btw.

do a ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew on the clients

Make sure that the DHCP server listed when the clients do an ipconfig /all is pointing to the server and not a rouge DHCP server. Check the DHCP scope to make sure that the DNS servers are setup correctly.
