WSUS 3.0 with System Center Update Publisher.

I'm using WSUS 3.0 and downloaded the System Center Update Publisher to install third party updates.  I published the updates to the WSUS server.  How can I view the updates in WSUS?  They only show up if I view the console from a server with a different software installed to work with third party updates.

Have you created the update server settings within System Center Update Publisher and then published the update you have created?

Yes I specified the update server.  I am able to view them, but only if I have wsus extension from a third party that I'm currently using as a trial.  Is there a way to view the updates without having to purchase another piece of software.

It's an update for SCCM that brings back the old tool we had in SMS2003 but in a new version.
