In Windows 7 Ultimate, the only user account was changed from administrator to standard user and the administrator account is disabled - any way to get admin rights back onto this machine?

Select the default language, then choose "Repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt type:

net user administrator /active:yes [enter]
net user administrator password 1234 [enter]
I'm sorry, this is after booting with the installation CD.
You will need to start the computer either with the installation disk or from the recovery partition.  The recovery option is only momentarily displayed during the first few seconds that you turn on the computer.  It will say something to the effect of Press F10 to start the recovery process.  From there, you can select to repair your computer...Be sure to NOT select the destructive recovery, as this will delete all of your files and make the computer brand new again.
try danotat solution above hopefully it shold work
